Bieleveld Ysselsteyn B.V. (Bieleveld) has acquired the activities of Biovergisting Ysselsteyn B.V. (Biovergisting). Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the seller.
Parties
Biovergisting Ysselsteyn was a waste fermentation plant, in which manure, cereals, and starch, are converted into other products such as electricity and digestate, which can be used as a fertilizer. The fermentation plant is located in the southeast of the Netherlands.
Bieleveld Ysselstyn is a waste fermentation plant, in whcih waste products are sustainably converted to green electricity and fertilizers. Bieleveld Ysselsteyn produces 2.1 megawatts of electricity, which is a sufficient amount of electricity for about 4200 households. The waste heat that is created in the process is used to sterilize manure and digestate for exports, and as such Bieleveld is recognized as a manure processing company. Currently, the company is part of VTO B.V.
