Hessing B.V. acquired 100% of the shares in Chiquita Food Innovation B.V., owner of the fresh cut fruit activities of Chiquita in the Benelux. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the seller.

In the Netherlands and Belgium the company is known for its bananas, pineapples and melons.
