Artemis Nurseries B.V. (related to Van den Bos Flowerbulbs B.V.) has acquired the shares in J.P. van Veen B.V. (J.P. van Veen) and Southern Bulbs S.A. (Soutern Bulbs). Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the seller.

Parties
J.P. van Veen was a grower of lilies, with 5.5 hectares of lillies in greenhouses and 10 hectares of lilies on the open field. The company employes 25, and produces more than 5 million lilies on 4 locations. Currently, the business is operating under the name Kwekerij de Plas.

Southern Bulbs is a Dutch-Chilean business which has been growing lilies and tulips since 1991. The company produces on 300 hectares of land, which is divided over seven production areas.
